Owen Saunders

Owen Saunders is well… Owen Saunders.  He is a hard man to forget.  He has played on some of the best bluegrass recordings of all time during his stints with bluegrass greats such as The Gillis Brothers, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, and James King’s classic band.  He did all of  this before the age  30.  His mountain fiddle stylings are second to none, and yes, he is hilarious.  When you hear Owen  speak or play, you know it’s him.  He is a country live bait fisherman, hunter/trapper, cook, and painter in his spare time. I’m sure though, he’s most proud of his family.  He and his wife and their two young children make their home in Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
